AeroNova in Changzhou
High-Speed Deltostat for 10 Passengers and 2 Pilots
Advancements in aerostatic technology, propulsion systems, and control units now enable the creation of aircraft that leverage both aerostatic and aerodynamic forces to achieve flight speeds of up to 200 km/h. These aerostatic craft will offer passengers comfortable, spacious accommodations characterized by low noise and vibration levels during flight.
Unlike traditional airships, they will be capable of embarking and disembarking passengers and cargo from confined landing zones. Furthermore, they can be operated without the need for specialized hangars (airship sheds), allowing them to be utilized alongside conventional helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft.

Increasing the power of the propulsion systems will allow a small-sized deltostat to be used for transporting 10 passengers over long distances at a cruising speed of 160 km/h, while maintaining VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) capabilities. With a running take-off, the aircraft will be able to carry a useful payload of up to 3,500 kg. The deltostat will provide a maximum speed of 200 km/h with a flight range of 1,200 km.
The combination of static lift (aerostatic force) and the high aerodynamic performance of the gas-filled envelope ensures stable flight across all regimes, as well as safe gliding and landing in the event of total engine failure.
